The Saboteur: Chapter 2

We began training early the next day. I supervised research at our local command center and left my second and third in commands in charge. Back at the training center, my men were shooting moving targets. They were nailing them one by one. I came in cloaked, just to oversee them, and I walked over to one especially skilled gunfighter, Jack Verni. He was a marine and a damn good one at that. I observed him closely. He pulled out set of bullets to reload a gun. I have never seen someone reload a gun that fast since Jim Raynor. Jim Raynor used to be on my side. How he defected to Emperor Mengsk is beyond me. Jack aimed the gun and shot the bullet fast, and it made a nice, clean shot in the moving targets head. Jack seemed very bored, my other men were pretty satisfied but he was having too much of an easy time. I silently walked over to the Super Computer. I entered my access code and typed in Jack's console number. I set up a virtual Lurker, a viscious Zerg killler. Jack was not one bit surprised at his target being upgraded, he seemed used to it. He just took one step back and lunged a bullet forward straight between the creatures eyes. The hologram dissipeared and I uncloaked. I walked over to Jack. "Jack."
"Yes, sir."
"You're one hell of a gunfighter."
"Thank you sir, I'd like to think so."
"What Attack Formation are you in?"
"'C', sir."
"Not anymore, computer, switch Jack Verni with Glen Cae."
"Processing...transmission completed...new list in printer..."
"I want you over there in the front with me."
"Thank you, sir." Jack was fairly pleased with his upgrade to my formation and poor old Glen slumped over into position as the men awaited my orders

"Alright, men. I have researched all the techs we're gonna need, ghosts, we have lockdown and nucleaur back up from the Command Center. In battle, you guys are to go into position and await my orders. If necessary, we might just nuke the freaks and get it over with. Tanks, you know have seige mode tech, speak with me for your specific orders...," I continued to list the orders and when I finished I called my men over to the Super Computer. I entered my access code and entered a file name: zrgvbtl.exe. The program, which I had designed and written onto a mini-cd the night before, ran its course. It transported my men and I into an artificial landscape and I called my men into action. I re-ran the program several times, testing for different senarios and surprises. All of my men past perfectly and Jack had the most kills. I was seeing Jack's potentional more and more. He might even turn out better than Jim Raynor.

I saw nothing more to do, really. My men had destoryed the Zergs quickly and cleanly and they were obviously ready for battle. So, I contacted the general. "Operator, patch me into General James Giton."
"Yes, sir...finding line...connecting through line 2830...one moment please."
"Yes, this is General James."
"General, it's me, Blake."
"Ahhh, Blake. How's training going?"
"Great sir, my men just finished a virtual battle, with your permission I would like to go into the area and run our mission tommorro."
"Tommorro, yes, very good." I was about to hang-up when I realized the General had not disconnected the line. I almost told him when he initiated another call, but since it was a call on top of a call, the words were fuzzy and unclear. "Operatior, patch me into...yes, his command ship..."
"This is he...they're starting tommorro?Yes...well we better get started with our, um plan."
"Yes...we will start destorying...tommorro."
